Campmeeting Sunday Morning
Sunday was the last day of Campmeeting. Each service was amazing and each speaker delivered a word that will change your life if you just apply it. On this day, we had the opportunity to minister the song "Mercy Seat" by Vicki Yohe'. We have done this dance many time before, but this time we had many new ladies. This is the 1st time many of them have ever ministered in a dance like this. It was great! The Power of God was awesome as always.
Campmeeting Wednesday Night
We ministered "You are Holy Lord" by Christ for the Nations on Wednesday night during campmeeting. We added banners and another flag this time. The banners are kinda hard to see, but they are wonderful. One banner says "Glory" and the other says "Lord you are Holy". Anna did an amazing job on the creativity of these banners, Thank you.
Because of Who You Are Dance
We ministered this dance on Mission Sunday. This version is sung by Judy Jacobs.
Mission Sunday was an amazing day at New Vision Ministry Center. Many people received Christ for the very 1st time and many more accepted the challenge to go forward and impact the world in our city.

Healing during this dance
Trust God Again was the last song that we ministered that night at Richland Baptist Church. The previous two days while we were in Nashville, we attended a Dancing For Him conference. Sometime during the last day of the conference, I pulled a muscle in my leg. It hurt to move, walk or even touch. Getting in and out of the van proved to be a challenge. I could barely walk when we arrived at the church and was practically in tears as we prepared for the night of ministry that was before us. The service began and I was in so much pain, but knew that I had to step up and get through the night. We danced song after song and my leg just seemed to get worse and worse. As we neared the end of the evening, it came time for me to get up and share and then close with the dance "Trust God Again". It was a struggle because I was really hurting at this point. Everytime I dance, I give my all because HE deserves it. HE is the reason I am here and HE is the reason I dance. As the music began to play I began to move (as you will see in the video below). I could feel the power of GOD all over me and the next thing I knew I was jumping up and down in the middle aisle of the church. There was no pain at all! God healed my leg totally.
God touched many lives that night and opened many eyes to his Grace and Mercy and Love. It was an amazing night.

Lisa's Testimony and Mercy Seat Dance
We had the opportunity to Minister in Nashville on September 14th. I had asked Lisa if she would mind sharing something to lead into the dance "Mercy Seat". She was very nervous, but said yes. I did not know that she had never shared her testimony before, and WOW, A testimony is what she had. Many people were able to see Gods Mercy and love that night through the words that Lisa shared. Thank You Lisa. You are an amazing woman of GOD.
Watch the video below. You may have to turn your sound up more so that you are able to hear better.

Testimonies from our Nashville trip
It was definitely a time that I will never forget. I got to know ladies in the group really well and feel more connected with the Team. Those are priceless memories that I will never forget. I feel like I have gained lots of friends and sisters. I am thankful for the opportunity to see that there are many different types of dancing and to learn more about the prophetic aspect of dance. The Sunday night ministry experience was one that I feel was so powerful and there seemed to be a hunger in the congregation to want to worship God in a way that they never had. The barrier that I thought would be there considering it was a southern baptist church wasn't there. The Holy Ghost was really strong and it almost made me week in the knees but at the same time gave me a high that I never thought would be in that type of church. Oh yeah Healing was released in that place and I am almost sure that more than one person was healed that night. When you make yourself a willing vessel and forget about the barriers that are between us, then those barriers fall and there is a wide open time of ministry and worship that took place. It like wings of worship brought that church to a new level of worship. They may not worshiped like that on Sunday but they were able to see that its ok to worship in different ways:)

What a blessing I have receive being a part of this ministry! The entire trip was so different for me this time ,my whole focus was I wanted to see the anoiting that was going to take place throughout the weekend! I knew how much it had changed my life and I wanted it so bad for the ladies who got to go this time. I am proud to say that I MADE IT through the introductions this time. lol But you could tell there was going to be a movement about to take place! And it sure did , we got our BREAK THROUGH ON!!! and ...I wasn't the first to cry . That was day 1! Sunday really stood out for me. The day started with phone calls from home, everyone was in the dark. This really put a damper in my spirit, just worried about kids and all. So all day we are keeping up with what is going on at home and now I am worried, will we even have anybody at the church tonight. That was the wrong thing to worry over! I have NEVER witnessed the power of God move people as it did that evening, Awesome Testimonies were given! Lisa! WOW!! Joan! You are a amazing woman! If you have never been able to here these ladies speak I am telling you ,YOU will know all about the favor of God and what he can do when you just put it All in Gods hand.!! I am looking forward to the next one already. Blessings & Contract 2,3,4!

I had a wonderful time in Nashville with the ladies. I knew that God had us in Nashville for a reason and it really wasn't for the conference. Although I enjoyed the conference that is not why we were supposed to be in Nashville. God had other things in mind. We were invited to minister at a baptist church that we visited before while we were there. The pastor has such a sweet spirit about him and you can tell he hungers for more. We felt the presence of God while we were in the back room praying with the pastor before the service started and knew then that was the reason for us to be in Nashville. Lisa ,whom is in the group, was asked by Tammy to give her testimony. She was very nervous about it and wasn't sure she could do it. It blew me away to hear what God has brought her out of. She has never shared that with anyone before not even any of us in the group. To see her worship with the group and to see her smile as she is dancing is truly an amazing testimony to what God can do in a persons life. The entire weekend was a wonderful experience and I feel closer to the ladies in the group than ever. I am always blessed and encouraged by them and consider them all my sisters in Christ.

This trip was an experience that I'll never forget and always treasure. Since we have been home, not a minute passes that I keep in my mind Sunday night when we ministered at the church. From the time we walked in that door I felt God's presence so strong. Even though we were all so tired and wore out from the weekend and knowing we were getting aggravated, this was the best night. Once the Pastor said a prayer with us before we started, my tears flowed through the whole thing. There is absolutely no way to explain this night. Just AWESOME is all I can say. Pastor Lynn is a wonderful lady too. She taught so much and God used her to relieve me of a "baggage" I've carried for so long. I can't wait to be able to go again!
Lisa Quire
I really enjoyed the "Hiding Place" Conference in Nashville! It was an awesome time to learn different aspects of dance and ministry through dance. I really enjoyed the time of learning about Prophetic Dance! I had never experienced this and found it to be such an awesome way to minister. I really appreciated Pastor Lynn and her heart for God. It was such an honor to meet her and learn from her. What an awesome woman of God!
I have to say that the Sunday night of ministry that we did at Richland Baptist Church was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend! It was such an awesome time of ministry not only to the church, but I think to us as a group! It was such a blessing for us! God simply showed up in such an awesome way! What an honor to be able to minister to the Lord and His people!
We really had fun as a group! We laughed together, cried together, and I really enjoyed it all! It was such an awesome weekend!

We're Back From the Conference
It has been an amazing 4 days in Nashville, Tennessee. We arrived in Nashville on Thursday night and have a wonderful time just getting to know more about each other in the group. We attended a Dancing For Him Conference on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday We had the opportunity of Ministering At a church in Nashville. I have a slideshow from the conference and I am working on posting video clips from the evening concert and there will be a blog post just to highlight the ministry that took place on Sunday night. Over the next few days I will be posting testimonies from some of the ladies that went on this trip. Enjoy the pictures!

Hide-and-Seek

When we stand before the congregation to minister, people should see the Lord and not us. We should be so hidden in God that people experience His presence when they come in contact with us. Movement ministry is never about showcasing ourselves.
When we do not take care to get our flesh out of the way, the glory of the Lord cannot be revealed. No flesh shall glory in His presence. Hiding is not about covering up sins, becoming a character on a stage, or faking it until we make it. Being hidden is when only the Lord gets the honor from the ministry that is demonstrated.
We can only hide in Him when we seek Him. If we seek Him, we will find Him. When we find Him, we find everlasting life and the fullness of joy. Having these things will enable us to lead others to Him and receive eternal life. Once we encounter His presence, we must continue to move with Him. We can continue to do that if we hide and seek and remain hidden in Him.
Deuteronomy 4:29 (NKJV)
But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
2 Chronicles 12:14 (NKJV)
And he did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD.
Psalm 17:8-9 (NKJV)
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, from the wicked who oppress me, from my deadly enemies who surround me.
Psalm 27:5 (NKJV)
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
Proverbs 22:3 (NKJV)
A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.

Day 2
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (The Message)
10-11This is God's Word on the subject: "As soon as Babylon's seventy years are up and not a day before, I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. 12"When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. 13-14"When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." God's Decree. "I'll turn things around for you. I'll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you"—God's Decree—"bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.
Fasting is not so much about abstaining from food as much as it is about focusing our complete concentration on God through prayer.

Week of Prayer and Fasting Sept 2-8 (Day 1)

Here is a scripture I would like to share with you today.
2 Chronicles 20:3-17:
3 -4 Shaken, Jehoshaphat prayed. He went to God for help and ordered a nationwide fast. The country of Judah united in seeking God's help—they came from all the cities of Judah to pray to God.
5 -9 Then Jehoshaphat took a position before the assembled people of Judah and Jerusalem at The Temple of God in front of the new courtyard and said, "O God, God of our ancestors, are you not God in heaven above and ruler of all kingdoms below? You hold all power and might in your fist—no one stands a chance against you! And didn't you make the natives of this land leave as you brought your people Israel in, turning it over permanently to your people Israel, the descendants of Abraham your friend? They have lived here and built a holy house of worship to honor you, saying, 'When the worst happens—whether war or flood or disease or famine—and we take our place before this Temple (we know you are personally present in this place!) and pray out our pain and trouble, we know that you will listen and give victory.'
10 -12 "And now it's happened: men from Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir have shown up. You didn't let Israel touch them when we got here at first—we detoured around them and didn't lay a hand on them. And now they've come to kick us out of the country you gave us. O dear God, won't you take care of them? We're helpless before this vandal horde ready to attack us. We don't know what to do; we're looking to you."
13 Everyone in Judah was there—little children, wives, sons—all present and attentive to God.
14 -17 Then Jahaziel was moved by the Spirit of God to speak from the midst of the congregation. (Jahaziel was the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah the Levite of the Asaph clan.) He said, "Attention everyone—all of you from out of town, all you from Jerusalem, and you King Jehoshaphat—God's word: Don't be afraid; don't pay any mind to this vandal horde. This is God's war, not yours. Tomorrow you'll go after them; see, they're already on their way up the slopes of Ziz; you'll meet them at the end of the ravine near the wilderness of Jeruel. You won't have to lift a hand in this battle; just stand firm, Judah and Jerusalem, and watch God's saving work for you take shape. Don't be afraid, don't waver. March out boldly tomorrow—God is with you."
Quit playing, start praying. Quit feasting, start fasting. Talk less with men, talk more with God. Listen less to men, listen to the words of God. Skip travel, start travail. -Leonard Ravenhill

Temper Mental

There are times in movement ministry that we will become distracted by the circumstances of life. We can deal with this in many ways including becoming angry, retaliating, showing grace, or practicing forgiveness. If our minds are distracted from the purpose to which we are called, we will be hindered as we try to get the message of the gospel to others. If we can be consumed in our minds, then it will affect our bodies as well. It is often said that the mind is a battlefield.
We have a choice concerning how we react to conflict. As we mature in ministry and life, we will realize that some things are just human nature. The things that bothered us five years ago may no longer affect us the same way today. We must decide to keep-it-moving. Handling ourselves in an ungodly manner will affect our minds if we keep making the same mistakes over again. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal.
If we allow ourselves to remain angry, stressed-out, and overwhelmed, our bodies will begin to show signs of wear and this will hinder us in ministry. Feeling sluggish and burdened will douse our excitement and joy. Dance ministry is not an act or production. It is a live demonstration of the Truth. As a man thinks in his heart (mind), so is he.
Psalm 73:21 (NKJV)
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was vexed in my mind
Proverbs 14:17 (NKJV)
A quick-tempered man acts foolishly, and a man of wicked intentions is hated.
Luke 12:29 (NKJV)
And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.
Romans 7:23 (NKJV)
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth

You are Holy Lord - Dance
We ministered this dance during the 9A.M. service on July 27. I have danced many dances but I must say this one was amazing. The Presence of God was all over me during this dance. Many of the other ladies said they experienced the same thing.
Hopefully we will get to minister this again soon.

Pajama Practice

This Past Friday, we had a Pajama Practice for Wings of Worship. We get so caught up in just a routine of coming to practice on Monday's, ministering with flags on Sunday's and ministering in dance, but we don't take the time for each other. We have a wonderful group of ladies in W.O.W.. Many of the ladies don't get a chance to really know each other when the only time they see each other is during practice, so I try to think of activities that will draw us together and open up doors where relationships can begin to grow. Sometimes, we just need to sit back and relax.
We really needed to get a final practice in before ministering the new dance on Sunday, so I decided to call a pajama practice for Friday. Everyone came in their pj's and brought their favorite sundae topping. We ordered pizza and finished that off with the most heavenly sundae's that you could ever imagine. We practiced the new dance many times (actually before the food, but probably should have been after to burn off calories). After eating, I paired the ladies up and had them interview each other for 30 minutes or so. The needed to find out as much about each other as possible. This proved to be veryyy interesting and very funny. Here are some things that I have learned:
Donna has over 20 years experience in dance and has traveled everywhere.
Barbara has a dream of opening her own candle shop called "Long Wicks & Sticks".
Tammy Johnson and Donna went to college at Western together and Tammy isn't as quiet as she seems.
Kendra is a Nanny (not a nunny). She loves working in missions and is fluent in Spanish and has lived in Mexico for 3 years.
Lisa met Rick through a co-worker that just happened to be his mom, and when they met, it was love at first sight.
Stephanie and Angela share the same birthday and Stephanie has trouble giving away trash bags.
Joan is a precious and amazing woman and she has met a wonderful man and is head over heals.
Angela is nicknamed "Smiley". She and Stephanie share the same birthday (have I mentioned that yet?) and if you ever need pointers on how to meet a guy, just ask her.
Shara had to cut out early to go to work, but she is a wonderful mom and a great blessing to W.O.W.
I also learned something about myself, I need to pick a new favorite color, lol.
Needless to say, we had a great time and I look forward to seeing these ladies grow in their relationship with God and grow together as a powerful ministry impacting this city for Christ.

Sin in Ministry
I got this article from a book, "Wisdom for Dancers". I would like to share it with you.
As we observe the world around us, it seems that there is more tolerance for what the Word calls sin. Although believers are supposed to be separate from the Godless practices of the world, many are embracing the customs of it in the name of liberty. The dance ministry is not immune to this trend.
Many dance leaders are living in intimacy with others to whom they are not married. Countless dancers are living sinful lifestyles that do not glorify God. Self-absorbed, conceited divas terrorize churches, communities, and dance programs with spiritual terrorism and sorority-style superiority. It is time to confront these destructive tactics of the enemy and spare not!
Those who labor in the ministry of movement should not be overaken by sin. We are overcomers. Perfection is a standard to which we aim, but the practice of willful disobedience sends shockwaves that cannot be measured if we do not yield to the Word of the Lord. Toleration of gross sin and misconduct only serves to disqualify movement as a ministry if practiced by dance ministers. Let us lay the lure of sin on the altar, and leave nothing left to spring up. No more excuses. Leave nothing behind for the enemy to claim. It's time to walk in righteousness.
Isaiah 58:1 (NKJV)
“Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
Ezekiel 5:11 (NKJV)
‘Therefore, as I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely, because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.
Romans 8:32 (NKJV)
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 11:21 (NKJV)
For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
2 Peter 2:4-7,9 (NKJV)
For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked...
...then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment

Lip Service

Dancing is not enough. We must have enough Word in us that we can verbalize His goodness. Some prefer to sing along with songs as they dance. This is not a requirement or a suggestion. Too many dancers hide behind the songs and movements, and cannot tell one personal testimony of the transforming power of God in their own lives.
While we spend time practicing our routines, we should also spend time each day giving Him the fruit of our lips. This does not mean to grab a bullhorn and stand on the street corner and yell Scriptures to passersby. Wherever and whenever we find an opportunity to praise His name, we should jump at the chance. Whether we are in our homes, in the car, taking a shower, riding the elevator, or walking down the street, we can take many moments throughout the day to tell the Lord how wondrous He is to us. The joy that will result cannot be hidden.
The more we magnify the Lord, the more of Him people will be able to see in our lives and ministries. It is not difficult to show conviction, passion, and emotion through dance when we do it on a daily basis. Praise and worship does not start at dance rehearsal, it starts with us.
Job 8:21 (NKJV)
He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, and your lips with rejoicing.
Psalm 40:9 (NKJV)
I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O LORD, You Yourself know.
Psalm 51:15 (NKJV)
O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
Psalm 63:3 (NKJV)
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.
Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The Power Company

It is not enough that one or two dancers on a team is powerful. If we dance with a group, we must strive for everyone to be effective and move by the Spirit. It is good and pleasant for us to dwell together in unity! Being on one accord helps to combat pride and competition within ministry groups.
Granted, we are all at different places in our personal relationships with the Lord. When we minister as a group, we stand as one before Him. If just one of us is out of line, then the whole group is compromised. There is beauty in the holiness of worship. We are more effective as dancers when we rely on the Holy Spirit, and not our own abilities.
We only receive power after the Holy Ghost is come upon us. Too many are operating in their own giftings. When the flesh is leading, we will struggle with disunity, strife, rebellion, ambitiousness, and mutiny. Our prayers for dance ministries should include the unity of the brethren and that we walk as one. We cannot accomplish this without the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:2-4 (NKJV)
With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling
Zephaniah 3:9 (NKJV)
For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one accord.
Philippians 2:2 (NKJV)
Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
1 Corinthians 12:13 (NKJV)
For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
